Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception

You can contact the school office to register your child’s details with us in advance or complete and return the Registration of Interest for Future Admissions Form found below and we will contact you when it is time for applications to be made. If you would like to look around the school before making your decision, please call the school office to arrange a suitable time.


We are able to accept children into Pre-Nursery from the term in which they turn 3. This provision is charged for the first term unless you have applied and are eligible for 15 hours funding All pupils will receive at least 15 hours funding from the term after their 3rd birthday. Places are offered based on availability. We also accept THINK 2 golden tickets.


Children are able to join our Nursery class in the September after their 3rd birthday. Funded places are available for 15 hours (5 x 3 hour sessions), with additional charged extended nursery places available. We can accommodate 30 hours funded places for parents/carers who present an Eligibility Code from HMRC, where there is availability. 30 hours funding can cover lunchtime care although school meals are charged. The 30 hours funded places can only be used for Nursery Provision and not Before and After School Club. Applications should be made directly to the school office. Applications for September 2024 are now open.


Children are able to join our Reception class in the September after their 4th birthday. Applications for September 2024 closed on 15th January 2024. Please contact your Local Authority if you wish to make a late application.

Years 1 – 4

If you have moved to the area and are interested in a place in Years 1-4 please contact the school office to make an appointment to look around. If you would like a place you will need to complete a mid-year transfer form and return to the school office. The form can be found by following the link below. If we are unable to accommodate your child/ren you will receive a letter advising you of the appeals process. This letter and your application will be forwarded to the county council admissions officer.
