Drinking a portion of milk at mid-morning break offers protein, calcium and other vital nutrients, important for children’s growth and development. It can also be a sensible way to bridge the gap between breakfast and lunch.


If you wish for your child to receive milk daily in school you must register with Cool Milk.


What you need to do:

If your child is under 5 – 

  • Your child is entitled to free milk, funded by the UK Government’s Nursery Milk Scheme
  • Registration is easy, click here to register online or print and fill out the form below posting it directly to FREEPOST COOL MILK
  • You will be prompted to make an optional payment shortly before your child’s fifth birthday, for them to continue receiving milk


If your child is over 5 – 

  • Your child is entitled to milk at a subsidised cost of 24p per day
  • Register and make secure payment online at or print and fill out the form below, posting it directly to FREEPOST COOL MILK
  • You can choose to pay in half term, full term or full year instalments; with the option to cancel in the future if you choose to


If you receive benefits based Free School Meals, your child is eligible for Free School Milk. You will not be able to register online, therefore please email your child’s name and year group to and we will add your child to the milk list register.


Registration, and payments, must be completed by Tuesday 5pm for your child to be added to the milk register the following week
